CoreVal Homes (“CoreVal Homes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through corevalhomes.com, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information We Collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it, and only what we need for the purpose at hand. This includes:
- Project and contact enquiries — your name, email address, phone number, property location, and details about the project you are considering, submitted through our contact, consultation booking, or project estimator tools.
- Job applications — your name, email address, phone number, work eligibility and licensing information, employment history, and any details you include in a résumé or application form, whether submitted through our careers page, by email, or through a recruitment or social media platform we advertise on.
- Supplier and subcontractor enquiries — business contact details and trade qualifications you submit when applying to work with us.
- Technical and usage information — collected automatically when you browse our site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring website.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare estimates or proposals
- To deliver and administer construction and renovation services
- To assess job and subcontractor applications and contact candidates
- To send information you have asked for about our services or projects
- To improve our website, services, and customer experience
- To meet legal, regulatory, insurance, and safety obligations
We do not use your personal information for any purpose beyond those described here without first obtaining your consent.
Job Applicants
Information you provide when applying for a position is used solely to evaluate your application, contact you about the role, and, where an offer is made, complete onboarding. Where you apply through a third-party platform such as a social media or job listing service, that platform collects your information under its own privacy policy before passing it to us. We retain unsuccessful applications for up to twelve months in case a suitable role opens, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Cookies and Analytics
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. We use analytics services that report aggregated visit and traffic data. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when they are sent, though some parts of the site may not function properly if you do.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only where necessary:
- With service providers who help us operate our business — such as website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, and analytics — who are permitted to use it only to perform services for us
- With trades, suppliers, designers, or consultants where required to plan or carry out your project
- Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of CoreVal Homes, our clients, or others
How We Protect Your Information
We use appropriate physical, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Access is limited to those who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How Long We Keep It
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, contract, warranty, or insurance obligations. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Your Rights
You may, at any time:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Withdraw your consent to our use of your information, subject to legal and contractual limits
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message
We will respond to requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
